I am a Florida licensed mental health counselor with a PhD in Clinical Psychology. I specialize in the treatment of postpartum depression and postpartum adjustment. Although I mainly see women, part of my practice does include men and the treatment of children and families. I feel that being a mother lends me insight into the difficult transitions that individuals and couples face when becoming a family for the first time or growing a family.
My hope for this blog is to provide information about the experience of postpartum depression and psychotherapy.
